Daniela Ruah currently plays Kensi Blye in the CBS series NCIS: Los Angeles, a spin-off of NCIS. Daniela Ruah’s first acting role came at the age of 16, when she auditioned for a Portuguese television series called Jardins Proibidos, and cast for the role of Sara. In 2007 Daniela Ruah moved to New York to study at the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute and pursue her career.
