Peter Facinelli is best-known as the star of FOX’s 2002 television series Fastlane, and Carlisle Cullen in the film adaptation of Twilight, based on the book by Stephenie Meyer. Facinelli starred in Hollow Man 2 with Christian Slater. He was also in films such as Riding in Cars with Boys, The Scorpion King, and Can’t Hardly Wait. In 2004 and 2005, he was a recurring guest on the hit HBO show Six Feet Under. He also appears on the FX original series Damages. He costars as Dr. Fitch Cooper in the Showtime dark comedy series Nurse Jackie, premiering on June 8th, 2009. Peter accepted a bet with a friend of his named Rob, from development company 211me-Inc.com. Rob bet that Peter couldn’t get 500,000 followers in a week. If Peter fails at reaching that goal by Midnight, Pacific time on June 19th, he will have to hand over the back of his Twilight director’s chair, which he does not want to part with. However, if he can reach that goal, Rob has to dance down Hollywood Blvd, in a bikini, singing “All The Single Ladies’ by Beyonce, while holding a sign saying “Twitter Me”. The best part, Peter gets to video tape it and put it on YouTube for all the world to see!
